Congratulations to Vince Nannini 2006 Midwest Super Comp Champion
With the competition fierce, and the Championship down to a final round, Vince Nannini, owner of VRN Race Cars, pulled away with the 2006 title. After winning the first race, Vince took the points lead and held on tight throughout the entire season. Vince, along with wife, Joann, has raced super comp since 1994. In 1999, Vince built his first dragster and expanded his business to VRN Welding and Fabrication/VRN Race Cars in Lake Bluff, IL. In 2005, their crew grew with the birth of their twins, Reno and Madison (Daddy’s good luck charms). They reside in Pleasant Prairie, WI. Vince would like to thank many people for all the help and support he has received over the years. Vince’s racing career would not have been possible without the help and support of Robert and Jeff Strange, JC, and the many helpful and extraordinary people at Strange Engineering, and the exceptional team and stellar performance of Automatic Transmission Design (ATD). He would especially like to thank his Dad, Reno, his wife, Joann, and his children for the unconditional support. Vince would also like to give a special thanks to Randy Etheridge and his crew for the numerous times they helped him out of a jam without a second thought. A HUGE thank you to everyone!!
