Young Guns Rule At Cordova

It was a Hot, Humid weekend that greeted the Midwest Super Comp Series racers at Cordova. The racing was equally hot. Wally Pote started it off qualifying #1 with a perfect 8.900. After five rounds of racing it was points leader, Chad Lamont, standing tall in the winners circle. Runner-up honors went to Jeff Torbeck.

With this win, Chad Lamont clinched the 2015 Midwest Super Comp Series Championship. "CONGRATULATIONS CHAD"!

Sunday brought a quick pace race that was completed by 3pm. Brian Reimer prevailed to take the win over Ben Wolf. Lacey Rosenberry made it to the Semis both days.

The current points reflect everyone's up to 10 best races. Byron will host our last two races on September 19 & 20. On Saturday we will have our Loyalty Shoot-Out with Sunday having the Last Chance Shoot-Out. Saturday after races will feature our end of the season Cook-Out. The series will supply the main course and we ask you to bring your best side dishes and desserts. There will be cash awards and trophies for your best dishes.

Hope to see you all there for this last race weekend. BE SAFE!!!   HAVE FUN!!!
