BIG SEASON FINALE AT BYRON
The 2014 Season comes to an exciting close on September 20th & 21st at Byron. The points race is as close as ever and will be decided on this weekend. For these final two races the entry fee will be $125 with the extra money going to the finalists. With our normal car count this should be $1,500 to win or more.
Also, taking place during the runs will be the “Loyalty Shoot-Out” which awards the top eight racers who came to the most races a $1,000 purse.
On Sunday, the “Last Chance Shoot-Out” will pay $500 to the winner and $250 to the runner-up. The eight racers in this race are the top eight in points who have not been in a final round. Thanks to Warren Goetsch and Ken Messenger for their support.
Finally, our Big Annual Cook-Out will take place on Saturday after the races. The series will supply pulled pork, burgers, dogs and some liquid refreshments. Everyone is encouraged to bring a side dish or dessert. There will be cash awards presented for the best sides and/or desserts. We are in need of tables, grills, and heating pots for the pulled pork.
